This quaint and cozy Kings Beach cabin is the perfect retreat for a petite family trip to Tahoe.

• PET POLICY: Pets are negotiable with additional fee and rules. $50 (plus tax) PER PET PER WEEK (Not Prorated). Please enter the number of pets and number of guests when searching for availability and the 1st pet fee should be included in the total cost of your booking (varies by booking site).

"The Raccoon Shanty"

Home has 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom with shower/tub combo. Home has a new comfy couch and gorgeous new flooring as well as a SMART TV plus Blu-Ray player (No cable/satellite) in the living area. There is also wireless internet access available for guest use.

The dining nook features a collapsible and portable wooden table and 4 chairs to maximize the space when not in use while allowing you to choose your dining scenery. Just past the pony wall, you will find a smaller yet efficient and fully stocked kitchen. The kitchen sink overlooks the front yard while the electric stove neighbors a door to the exterior side yard with a propane grill and patio furniture (Seasonal amenity). The kitchen also houses a full-sized washer and dryer.

Just down the hall on the right, you will find a Lodgepole king bed with a new dreamy Memory Foam mattress in the large Primary bedroom. To the left, is another Lodgepole bed but this one holds a full bed on the bottom and a twin-sized bed on top. You will also find plenty of extra blankets in this bedroom's closet.

Grab a novel from the bookcase and cozy up on the couch or take a short walk into downtown Kings Beach where you'll find shops, restaurants, recreation areas, and the largest sandy beach on Tahoe's North Shore. The home also has a single car garage where you can keep your vehicle away from the elements.

    Great distance from shops and the beach. Quiet area as well. The trees are beautifully. Fully fenced yard would've been perfect for our dog, we made do with a leash though. Only upgrade inside that should be made is better seating. Very comfortable stay,besides the lack of comfy chairs. Didn’t have any issues so we never needed to call the host. Wonderful little getaway. Got to escape SoCal temps for a week.

    Everything is as advertised. The rental company was great! and easy to talk to which made the experience pleasant. The place is a bit on the old side but does its job. There's a bit of old house smell. Pretty space-y for what it is. The furnitures are great. The kitchen can use a bit of update. Especially the cooking utensil and stove. But again , they are all working fine and we didn't have any issue. Bathroom is great since i think that's been renovated compare to the rest of the place

    Cabin was adequate for a small family. Kitchen was decently stocked. Coffee maker top was broken but functional.

    Master bed was very comfortable but seating in the cabin was not. Used the yard chairs for sitting inside.

    No counter space in bathroom to set a curling iron, toothbrush, or makeup bag.

    Location was a few blocks from the park so easy walking distance.

    Would have been nice to use the kayak, and have a fenced area for pets.

    Arranged for early check-in. Not communicated to staff - guy was finalizing check when we arrived.

    Cabin had a nice layout and seemed well cleaned. I would stay again. They provided hand sanitizer. Great location. The code entry was perfect to access. Only complaint is the wall furnace was very loud at night and woke us all up several times. Still would stay again though.
